anyone on here have a somewhat newer street truck (preferably lifted) that has black aftermarket wheels?? my truck hasn't sold yet so im starting to look for some new wheels & tires cuz i should keep it anyway!.

i wanted black wheels originally (cuz i never had 'em) just for a different look. ill probably be unloading my current set of pro comp wheels & tires cuz ill have no reason to keep them.

ive been searching the net just looking at other rigs cuz im still a bit iffy on the whole deal but ive seen some awesome trucks lifted w/black aluminum wheels.

here's what it looks like now. im just going w/a totally different look if i do anything.

thanks!!!! :)

only torsion bars cranked...this is the best I can find this minute, let me look and see if I can find another. I do not like solid black wheels, for me, they have to have something in contrast as well...mine are 33 inch tires on 17 inch pro comp wheels. I am not happy with the quality of the wheels, will be looking for new ones next summer or fall...

that looks good, though. thanks. it is a nice contrast to your color. most of the trucks im finding on the net that have black wheels are either black or a lighter color so im hoping to find a blue truck w/black wheels, too.

sorry to hear about your luck w/pro comp...that sucks. :angry1:

Have you ever been to www.dieselplace.com

They have a section on the forum dedicated to wheel and tires and the are MANY pages of trucks with black wheels. Even if your truck is a gasser, you can get alot of good info there. Actually, I think they even have a section for gassers... either way very informative site for GM owners!! :)

This is my second set of Pro Comp wheels that the clear coat is peeling... :angry1:

i just went there and i think it said i needed to be a member to view the galleries. i used to go to fullsizechevy.com a couple years ago cuz they used to let u browse their galleries w/out being a member. i just tried them again but u have to join to view the full size photos.

maybe i should just join, huh? thats all i need is another site to take up hours of computer time a night!

Hit tirerack.com You can pick vehicle and rims then it'll show you a preview if you list your vehicle, choose rims/tires, then view on vehicle, can even pick vehicle color etc...
