I was just talking to Sun 98 about that. It really never bothered me when I was in the marine business, but then I was not driving my own truck or towing my boat!!! :)

Going from your 27 fountain to a 29 Formula is a HUGE jump in size. The cockpit is a lot bigger and the cabin is just absolutely night and day. I can see why when you got on the 292 you were instantly sold.

One of the things I really like about the cockpit is the way the bolsters are designed with kind of a concave shape to the back of them. Those few inches of space seem to make a WORLD of difference in space b/w the front of the back seat and the back of the bolster chairs.

Again, congrats - you're going to love it!

The one thing that surised me though was that the Formula cockpit is narrower between the bolsters and the Fountain bolsters are alot wider. Both boats have the same beam, so I am not sure where Formual lost the room. I will lok closer when I have the boat. I think one thing that makes the Formula cockpit feel so much bigger is the windshield on the Formula is alot farther forward...

Had some questions with the factory today and they could not have been any nicer!!!!
