Air Gap as in the Edelbrock Air Gap RPM's ?

They sure look like single plane intakes to me.

I need to know as there are models of spacers made specifically for each respective type.

I also need to get some idea of how much air these monsters need.

What is the targeted WOT rpm ?
What cylinder heads ? If ported, how extensive ?
Is your cam over or under .600" lift ?
And again, which intake manifold ?
Sorry more like a merlin. single plane max rpm 5400 .618 lift on the cams..I kinda over built the motors I know even a bigger carb.. 830 cfm now but I have a lead sled w/TRS and Borg trans..so I wanna keep it together...

Wilson Manifolds replica of the Super Sucker.

The SS was the first to come out and is still making more power than the others.

BTW: Wilson Manifolds is a very, very, very (did I say Very?) respected intake manifold porting company. Really one of the tops in the business.

They make good spacers, but usually don't beat out the Super Sucker.
WOW,

cant believe this old thread is up top, and i saw this, I used to do some work with Wilson.

I am very sorry. I thought I answered this one but apparantly not. :dead:

The 2" (SS4150-2A) will gain a few more hp than the 1" (SS4150-1A) in your application.

If you have to modify things for the 2" - like fuel lines, hatch, or etc, then grab the 1".

As always, these spacers are available in the Speedwake store.

thanks no mods needed..had blowers and they fit under the Hatches..I will order the 2"..from the store..THANKS AGAIN..Dave

think I could use a 2" ?? I have a aftermarket 1" already, but they way these are talked about I think I want one of these!

383 chevy
12.8:1
edelbrock victor jr intake
210cc afr heads
.598" lift. 250/258 duration
750 holley

thanks

I am only going to turn 5K rpm and from the chart that was posted on this thread back in 05 it looks to me like I would not get much out of a spacer till I turned over 5K.
Is that an accurate assumption or would I have some benefit under 5K rpm.
I have an aluminum spread bore intake and an even bore holley. From some other reading I gather that the spacer would improve my flow due to the intake type being corrected by the spacer.
