I met the guy who did the indoor/outdoor carpeting when I looked at this boat in 2005. His idea of "good condtion" was slightly different than mine ;)
Does seem a bit cleaner since the last time I saw that boat...Jrapp as long as the bottom paint hasn't been re-applied since KJO and I last saw it....should come off much easier than most applications.

I agree! It looks much better...

Good luck finishing the boat off, from what I can tell you got a better deal (proportionally) than what was offered in 2005 by the previous owner.

Start a new thread in the formula section so we can see the progress.

I just read the thread...and see a member bought it on Ebay, and assume Jrapp bought from this guy...

Wonder why this previous owner dropped out of site 2 years ago after he bought it, someone suggested he post it on the Formula thread to see the restoration in progress, then... Poof, not a word since March 2006.
It would of been nice to see what he did do, as reference for the current owner...Jrapp

I plan on keeping everyone up to date as to the progress. I was not that clean. The outside looks clean but the top half needs compounded and buffed. I spen a few hours cleaning and scrubbing today and already looks better inside. Any suggestions for light oxidation and removing rust stains?

The bottom paint will be coming off. That is going to be the last thing to happen. I just got done taking apart the bolsters....need new actuators. Got the info so now to call and see how much. Also installing v-6 timing modules to get the correct advance. That is it for now.
