if it sunk up north the titanic would not have hit a floating Ice Berg? And I live in Central Ga we do not have Hurricanes, I wish but we dont. The best we can get is a twister or 2. I chase storms so I see alot of them.

That picture of the boat sitting on the mud, I didnt see any ice on the bottom of the lake? does it only sink in the middle? You guys are a trip!

Where the Ice is close to shore, because of the shallow water, it warms, and melts. Where the deeper water is away from shore, before it can warm enough to melt, the Ice looses it's density, and sinks..

hey , i was up there all day getting my parents place ready . there was still ice on the south shore side . ice appeared to sink :D in the wide part durring the afternoon . docks are all over the place
