I was threatened by someone who thinks they own the lake!!

I got in what will probably be the last run of the season yesterday. When I returned to my truck I found this note under the wiper blade. There were at least 5 boats running at the time. This is some BS and it has been reported to the police. I think it's time to put cameras and a DVR on my rig. :angry1:

can you see any imprints on the paper, like what he wrote on the paper in front of that one? Deffinetly hook up a recording device, I would love to see some spineless ******* get whats coming to him.

Are you gonna take the boat out just one more time this year now? :D

Seriously, I would have a buddy take your boat out at 7, 8 or 9 pm and then stay behind and hide in your truck with your friends - Smith & Wesson.

If the weather hadn't gone downhill big time I would go out tonight and have someone stake out the truck. It's going to be too cold tonight. The weather has been cold here for the last two weeks and this guy has had lots of peace and quiet. We finally got some warm days and I got out for a few hours, probably only ran the boat for 45 minutes. Why would someone buy a house on an all sports lake if they want peace and quiet. Unbelievable. We have a new resident who has been calling the police any time there is performance boat on the lake. Even the cops are sick of this person's whining and this letter goes too far. There were no marks on the paper, BigMacz.

CC I live near by, My buddy dave also lives near by with a sunsation, we'd be glad to join you for a little sub 55 mph bench racing if you will.

I'll of course back the trucks and trailers in for you guys and hang out and wait near the dock.

I would definitely lour them out and find out who it is. Maybe set up a camera, let them damage something on your truck or trailer, then jump out and restrain the punk while you wait for police with video in hand. Either that or just beat the crap out of this person.

It's one thing to make a request (6:00 is unreasonable, in most towns near me noise ordinance is 10:00PM), but I personally don't respond well to threats.

Thanks a lot for the support guys. I appreciate that. It looks like it's done for the season so I'll just take measures next year. DishDave, no, not big enough but thanks for the thought. :D

Is this the same little lake where they asked you to stop running last year ?

Lake Oakland I bet, idiots want peace and quiet they should have went to Oxford and bought a house on a non-motor lake and not an all sports lake. You should get all the Donzi guys out there at once and tear it up.

I would definitely make a police report though just so its on record.
