Like the kitchen kind that come up your arms further,,, that stuff burns !!!!!!!!!

Will that take the paint off the trailer? If not, that might be the best route...

Yeah, I read that somewhere about the on / off that it will take paint off a trailer. How the heck are you supposed to clean it then? Take it to a marine and have them throw it in a sling?

if you wet the trailer down first it will be ok, just dont let the acid sit on it for long periods without washing it off. its more harmful to the bunk carpeting than the paint.

Ditto!! I have a painted trailer and have used both "The Works" and "On & Off" with out any harm to the trailer. I just keep it wet and wash it down with soap and sponge as soon as the boats done.

Good luck with the new to you boat. Post some pics when you get it!!
