Yup and Tug was Number 45 and he through the last pitch in 1980 and Lidge was number 54 and got it done in 2008. :D :bigsmile:

Completing the game is not what I'm talking about. There is no way that a World Series should end without complete games. Then there would always be a clause next to the Championship. The 6th inning should have never started, the field was already in bad shape by then. Since it was started is should have been completed for both teams to bat in the 6th. Not stop it when they did. Or stop it when the infield fly ball could not be caught by Rollins. But they waited until the came was tied????? Either way 48 hours later the PHILLIES are champs!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, in a game of that magnitude they should have never even started the game. Postpone it a day or 2 and give both teams the opportunity to win or loose based on their play not weather

I think Baseball players should man up and play no matter what the weather is. It is about who can over come all the things around them. The pig skin boys never blame the weather or stop playing. :rolleyes: They just keep right on going.

We headed over at about 9:30am and parked at the NovaCare Complex. There was plenty of parking when we got there but it filled up fast.
