We are suppose to see 40°'s today so I'm thinking we might get some melting.

We lost some of the ice yesterday and should see more go away today, weather lier says 45 today.

Suppose to get cold again Saturday, great day for the Polar Bear Swim at Sandy Point Saturday! :confused1

usually there is guys out on the river ice fishing

back in the 90's before i owned it i saw cars driving on it.
i think anchor marina has pix of cars out there.

The new bartender told me a few days ago there was a couple who walked
over from those nearby condos (across the ice) ate lunch and
then walked back home again. Jay was telling me he's been
out there more than once - as you know Jay is no ballerina !

Water is unique and fascinating.
It's the only substance on earth that expands instead of contracts
when it freezes and becomes a solid (ice).

Then - just to prove it's cool - it floats instead of sinks like the rock it is.

we stopped by to see mike and rosanne, and i didn't think it was right to drag a bar stool over to the table.so we joined them for a little while.great seeing both of you again. i was reunited with my bar stool afterwards. :a10: :a10:

Cool pix. I love NE MD. The pix with the ice are interesting to see. I havent been there in colder winteres to ever see the ice like that form.
