I didn't want to say anything at all to anyone until it happened for sure, but I sold IT!!!! I was happy to Edit my add this time!!!

You know what else.....I close on the sale of my house this week TOO!!!!!

It is so funny how it happened - I was moving into my new rental house (wonderful, compared to the 1 bedroom apartment I moved into for the separation) when this guy called me to ask about my boat.

Well, one thing led to another and we came to terms we were both happy with and we had an agreement for a sale. THEN....2 days later, I got an offer on the house that's been for sale for 7 months.

The buyer of the boat was from Texas so we met in the middle in Memphis Tennessee on Friday. Now all that's left is my house to close this thursday - THEN, all of this is behind me and I can start re-building. Another house is in my near future, then hopefully in not too much time.....another BOAT.

I hope you all don't mind me hanging around here boatless....;-)

Those that have been through it can understand what I mean when I say how GREAT it feels to have these two things gone.

Yeah, I wish I could have kept the boat, but I have many other priorities at the moment, but rest assured, I WILL be back!
I feel your pain. I got a little luckier then you did when it comes to the house and the boat, but regardless I feel your pain.

I'm actually going and getting a bunch of stuff out of her house today before the bank takes it ....

You're where I was in 1998!

I will tell you there is a wonderful life after divorce!

One piece of advice I will give you having been there myself,

don't look back!
There has been more un needed drama....that I won't get into here, but trust me....I am NOT looking back!!

Not even 1 time have I questioned if I'm doing the right thing....if anything, I have been getting more and more convinced this is DEFINATELY the right thing!

THANKS AGAIN ALL!!!!

Funny thing --- when I sold my Sutphen, I agreed to meet the seller in Tennessee. :)
I'm trying to figure that out.

YOU sold the boat and agreed to meet the seller in Tennessee..
Why would you go all the way to Tennessee to meet yourself??

;) :laugher: :laugher:

BTW Cads, congratulations on the sale.. :D

I remeber the link where you had just brought this thing home.

Well, good for you, and yes, especially in this economy.
Yep, looking back, I've met a lot of good friends on here that I've never actually met....LOL

Most of you remember the saga I had when I brought that beast home.....the Pole Barn I had built 9 months earlier was three feet too short to fit that monster into....LOL!!!

Live and learn I suppose!
