Re: Re: Aluminum Swim Platform - NEVER USED

What does it fit?
We ordered it and then painted it for the V-24 (7' Beam), but then decided not to go with it. It has been sitting in storage for 3 years and has never been used or even mounted. It is a really nice piece.

I wish there was a way to make it fit my Dominator. The wife would love to have a swim platform again.

Can you give me some measurements of the bottom brackets? I am wondering if they would be inline with my outdrives.
I had my wife type the last quote for me to give you an idea. Here are the measurements:

- Bottom mounts are 36" apart from center to center.
- Bottom mounts are 11.5" down...from center of top mounts to center of bottom mounts.
- Top mounts are 4" in diameter and the bottom mounts are 4.5" total horizontal and 3" total vertical.
- All mounts are centered on the posts.

Let me know if you have got any questions. Thank you for the interest.

Unfortunately, the bottom brackets land right on the outdrives. That's too bad, because that was what I really wanted. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a teak swim platform. Thanks for the info and good luck selling it!

Is there a way to mount a ladder ?

What about shipping to Texas ?
Hey D-Man,
You can mount a ladder on this platform. It will have to be a custom build, but with the multiple applications out there I am sure you could find somethting that fits the style you are looking for. We were actually thinking about putting the shock loaded retractable ladder that you find on PWC's in the middle of the platform.

The final selling price will include shipping!

Are the top and bottom mounts exactly at 90 degrees to the top of the platform? Or a better way of wording the question is it built to fit on a transom thats straight up and down or is there an angle to it, like the bottom mounts may stick out farther then the top ones.
Im looking to use it on my 253, as you can see in the picture the transom has maybe a 15 degree angle down to the water. I may have to modify it a little bit.

It is angled, and it looks like it would be close if not exactly what you need. I can find out what the exact angle is if you want.

If you could that would be great and ill go check mine also along with the other measurements which I think will be fine. Is it powdercoated, painted or anodized?

It is painted Orange with House of Kolors paint, and from my calculations it is right at 17degrees. Let me know if this will work. Thank you.
