Yea i figured as much .I told him to take it off and take it to a local prop shop. He keeps it in storage so i guess he will find out what he has or atleast show me this weekend when he brings the prop home. A little newer but a lot more money.....
We need more info. Whats the MAX WOT RPM for that engine (I suspect 5000) and whats the drive ratio?
Can't suggest a prop without knowing the Drive ratio.....
He's more than welcome to try the 23P 3 blade that I have here..........but, if it comes back looking like his.....$$$$SINGLE SCREW 32 said:OK Liberator guys help me out here. I have a Nieghbor that bought a 211 last year after a couple of different issues he had a 300 horse 5.7 put in it Still has the alpha on it . Question is what prop would be a good start with? i'm not sure what he has on it ,but its chewed up and he is looking for a replacement.
I am almost positive that it is a 1.5 drive ratio!!HT32BSX115 said:We need more info. Whats the MAX WOT RPM for that engine (I suspect 5000) and whats the drive ratio?

Either way the offer stands....... I know it is prob. a little too big, but if you remember, I could spin it to the moon with the stock motor!! Lot different hulls though!!SINGLE SCREW 32 said:I'm assuming it is a good bit smaller prop than that, but we will see. I figured it would be a standard set up.
Check these guys out. They can do just about anything. They have done a few of my buddys race cars and they turned out awesome. They are located in Ceder Springs.Stevem_GR said:I put the charger on my batteries and was surprised to see that they held their charge all winter! Didn't fire the engines though. I spent all weekend finishing the swim platform and pulling the stripes off the hull. What a pain in the A$$! I am having a hard time getting the glue off. I am going to try to finishing getting the glue off b4 it goes in for the tune-up. Can anyone recommend where to go to buy new stripes?
Your stereo install looks great. Get ahold of Daves Battery over on Clyde Park around 36th street. Tell him Jim at Andersen & Associates sent you. I'm sure he will give you a good deal on a few batteries.SweetEmotion said:I tried starting her up this evening for the first time this year quickly found out both batteries are junk :angry1: .
SE....Looks good, My stereo install is almost done also.SweetEmotion said:I cut the lower back of the seat out to slide over part of the motor
