After some modifications to my engine im in need of a new prop. I currently have a PowerTech RAS 3 blade 14.25X23P and turn about 5100 rpm at 63mph. It ventilates if I goose it in the hole shot and speeds up really quick. This weekend I tried a suzuki (turbo?) 14.25X26P 3 blade and ran about 4600 rpm at 64mph and still a good hole shot. A 26P would probably be fine, i still have some timing/fuel tuning to do at top end.
Im thinking a 25/26P at 4800rpm would be the range id like to be in. I think a Mirage would be a good prop to try out, but I like the PowerTech craftsmanship. Does anybody have any recommendations for a good prop to try next?
