I saw 56 at one point during the afternoon.
A couple fishermen on Murray.
I was in the garage under the truck.
Figured I would get stuff done while it was warm.
Only a small part of the lake skinned with ice.
Guessing water levels are going to be worse this summer.

Wow so that is winter in Michigan ? 60 and rain  ain't that supposed to be snow  we are in the mid 60's here today, nice day kinda windy but nice. Supposed to be mid 70's saturday so we are thinking about taking the boat out for a run. It likes the cooler days, come to think of it I like the 70's better than the 95-100's too :D

It has been a WEIRD week for weather.
Saw real close to 60s now 3-4 " of new snow and high teens today
I read something yesterday asking, "Where else but MIchigan can you experience a whole years worth of weather in a week?"
More like better part of a years temps in a day or 2...

I saw where you guys were gonna get dumped on hope you don't have it like in Detroit I saw where they have had some pretty bad accidents.

Stay warm and safe my friend :)

I was heading to work this morning and actually had to come to a complete stop on 275 south before the Detroit metro airport exit. I seriously could barely see the car in front of me at a stand still.

Weather wise its been a crazy winter with these temps, but the precipitation has been very pleasant and can tell the water level on my lake has gone up drastically. Looking forward to the rest of a good winter hopefully, I still have new carpet to put in, half the upholstery, and new dash to make. Gotta love boating!!!

Gotta love all the rain/snow we are getting though... the water levels should be rising...
big water level problems still at the coast. all this snow has been lake effect, so it is pulling from lake michigan. we did get 1 1/2 - 2 1/2" of rain mid week, but that my match what came out from the snow. there is a lot of people will be having big problems with the water levels. we should be good with in and out service if the forks on the lift will go down that far, and if we can get the boats off the trailers.

No matter what happens, the A_HOLE Lake association where I live wants to drain the da_m lake

Fruitcakes build decks, patios, and Tiki bars at the water's edge when it is a drought then bi+ch and whine when their piggies get wet after a rain.
STUPID MFers !!!!
I would have thought that they would learn last fall when nobody could get in/out of their lifts, had to extend their docks, and bashed their props...
BUT NO, still asking for the dam to be lowered.
You just gotta love the power of a STUPID squeeky wheel today, move to a lake, then BI+CH that there is too much water.

We are on the fence.
Wife my take my son, just for something to do.
I have not enjoyed it or seen much interesting in years...
It would be a first for my 4 year old daughter which may make it more fun.
Maybe throw her in a fishing boat and tell her that is what she has in store for next summer :)

I don't have any plans to go, I think I'll stay home and watch the golf channel instead LOL!!! I hope everyone is doing well, maybe we'll catch up with one another on the water this summer.
