have you dug thru this thread? seems to be the only place you can find info on the liberators. I'm just getting into restoring mine. twin 270's with omc drives outdrives are done interior cushions done, need some time to get the motors purring. to many projects. but glad to see this thread is still going

I have a 241 with a single 460 and im in need of a prop to help me get on plane easier. Im not to concerned about losing top end. Can anyone help?

When my engine was stock, I ran a mercury mirage plus 19 pitch. Seemed to be the best performing prop for hole shot and top end. Put your trim tabs all the way down when taking off too.

Here's my 211 Liberator. Been in the family for 15 years. 350 with a new Sterndrive Engineering SE106 drive. LOVE this boat. Just had some paint work done from the rub rail up and from the tape stripe down, new interior, and had the transom redone.

Thats got to be like getting rid of one of the kids when you see the Pride and Joy pull out of the yard!!! Hate to see ya part way with your toy....

Yep...been wrenching and ordering parts all day here for the scarab. Thru bolted both swim platforms and made sure everything was sealed up hanging off the transom. Lot of work and upkeep, both worth it in the end.

Anyone know where I can pick up some stock docking light lens covers? 1986 261....

You might have to wind up doing like I did on my ski boat.....change the entire piece, just look for one that is close as you can get to what you have....there is always fleabay.

Either at the exhaust risers or behind the transom...

Had to do it

Are you thinking the stock style? Out the sides and with the muffler/water boxes?
Otherwise if straight out the back like most rigs, I would just look for a set of tips with proper transom angles and 4" hose.
A 4" hole saw, some resin and sealer, hose clamps, and your in business:)
Good luck.

If you can make a template about any fab shop can do some in stainless for you, the cost is not expensive as you may think.

Pretty common failure on the Libs.
A few people have remade their own or had them made like mentioned by Scarab One above there.
Some others I have seen replaced with a few different styles.
I was able to save mine years ago with a couple simple welds, but they weren't too bad.
If you do a little searching here and other boating forums, there has been quite a bit of discussion.
Good luck.
