I dont believe it will run 100 mph but the engine may be the same as I have, GM crate motor which is a 358 and puts out 400 HP and 400 lbs torque...used in dirt cars as sealed crate motors. But the rest of the add seems that the guy is fishing for ideas....dont think he knows all of what he is talking about.

The trailer is a nice fit too! I like the oversized wheels and tires, a baseball bat would help flare out the fenders for that real custom look. Bow stop? We don't need no stinkin' bow stop! :dead1:

I think what DonMan meant was that there never was PROOF of a 100 MPH Alpha boat, TrippleDigits included, and therefore a reasonable man would conclude that the 100 mph Alpha is a myth.....
Yes, that is what I meant. I heard about the TD thread and now he has shown up on another site that I frequent (powerboatparty.com) boasting about his 100 mph boat. He did post a video of it idling on the hose . . .

Guys --- please, let`s not get into another debate. The guy is gone and let`s let his memory fade away. I wasn`t trying to get anything started. I was just attempting to be funny. :)

Not that it matters, but Chevy actually did build a 400 ci small block back in late 70's or early 80's. I had a new El Camino then with one. It was a bored out small block, bored so far that the cylinders were siamised, shared the same water jackets between cylinders. Supposed to have been prone to overheat but mine never did. Only reason I am posting this useless piece of info is because it's a slow day at the boat store :D

Yes I know they did, but the 400 was balance externally and I dont think he has that for the boat...he may but I dont think he does, of course he doesnt really know what he has.
