I found one for a good price. I'm going to check it out tomorrow. It is an 85 with twin 350's and Bravo drives. Does anyone know the performance of this package? How does it ride in the slop?
Bought the boat today. It was in nice shape inside and out. The twin sbc's are freshwater cooled and look like brand new. The ad was wrong, it doesn't have bravo's, they are alpha's. Can't wait to take it out next weekend! Here is a pic of it on boat trader. http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/8/4/26506184.htm
congratulations Cuda, Thats a great boat. You should have a lot of fun with it. I would guess your looking at a 62-65 mph boat. Its a Formula thier not fast thier comfortable! Good Luck, MFB
Good for you. Looks nice.
The SBC's are good motors. They're probably 350 MAG's (260 hp?). I have an F-206LS with a single 350 MAG (270 hp) and an Alpha. She's gone over 400 hours with no trouble. I'm not the original owner (3rd actually) but I have all repair receipts.
Speed is relative. I know it's not a 80+ MPH ride but it's as fast or faster than others it's size. Hell, mine does real close to 60 with a single SBC.
