Where is that? Cattails.
Cattails is behind the Island in front of National Park. The creek that runs to it is along the tree line. Its shallow between the island and the park at low tide. Also watch the sand bar at the Island. At low tide it follows the river on the south side really far down and is not marked. Dont let all that scare you though just follow the locals and you will be fine. There is a few very cool places to hang out in the area. At low tide the Island is usually packed and has a nice soft sand bottom. There is a cove south of the Island on the New Jersey side that alot of people raft together and party.

We also have Dave and Busters in Phila. to dock up to and grab a bite to eat. Nice docks. Small docking fee. But everyones very helpful there. :winker:

Word to the wise, the current is very strong in the river and the creeks. You really cannot swim against it. So be careful. Just plan ahead and tie up to a line if you are floating around. And look out for one another.

The river gets a bad rap, but there is always plenty of water. Lots of go fast boats on the weekends. No salt water to deal with.

Dockign is free at D&B! you just gotta know how to 'swing around' the gate.. :laugher: :laugher: :laugher:

true about the current!! side info!

Yea, dont know why the Del. Riv. gets such a bad rap here.. Always 45+ feet of water, is clear enough to see 5 feet down, and decent places to go and hang.. I enjoy it here..

It's the water logged RR tie floating 6 inches below the surface that you don't see thats the scarey part. And don't ask me how I know

Well with a 6 foot tide things get washed off the shoreline!
Very cool. I presume the boat ran well Mo?

I always wanted to explore that way. How for would dave and buster, cattails be from the CI?
I wish cool. Overheated at idle. 22 lbs water pressure at 50 mph. 25 lbs at 60 then the water hose for the guage blew off
Pulled seawater pump yesterday and it was fine. Checked and back flushed all hose and coolers over the winter when it was apart.
Performance and new hydraulic steering was good :D
That sucks Mo. I presume you had good flow out the tips and that you have a circ pump?

Roughly 55 miles to D&B. It isn't one of my favorite stops but if you have kids it a good way to spend a day in AC and spend a lot of $$$$. :pirate:
