Fred...What happened to the Sutphen ?.....Did you sell the big power with her ?

 

Sold the Sutphen with Power in late May. Bought a 382 Formula and used it for the summer. Got involved in a three way trade deal a couple weeks ago and ended up with the Hustler.

I would agree. I believe that the Hustler construction reflects more of a performance orientation. Formula is performance oriented, but more civilized. A Ferrari vs Mercedes type approach to performance.

I'm thrilled to have it. I love the lines of the Hustler. I found the ride to be good, handling predictable, construction quality is very nice and wiring/rigging is exceptioal.

My wife doesn't care for the lack of cabin ammenities in comparisson to the 382 Formula, but the truth is we never had the TV on, never used the head, never slept on the boat and turned on the generator and air twice.

The Formula was a bequtiful boat too. The Hustler is a bit more to my personal liking and has the additional speed I like.

Proud to own it.

I look forward to the "personalization" of the boat over the next few months.

 

This one belonged to a friend of mine. I just painted it. It had HP500's with Vortec superchargers. Ran damn good.
