well port is about 170 and starboard is allmost 190 when running. both side water pressure seams good. i did check the heat exchangers and didnt see anythiong obvious.. when i did the impellers the innner housing brass walls were grooved a bit. could that be the problem?
One of mine runs hot (170 plus) on the gauge. I installed all new gauges and it still reads hot. The DDT has always shown the engine temp normal at 160. I'm going to replace the sender to see if that is causing the high reading.
