With Boatally Insane/Dougs help we got the numbers off
the 502 and looked them up, block and crank checked out however we couldnt find anything for the cam, number off front of cam is
22960081

also my big oval ports did show up as 70-77 ovalport 454,chevelle,corvette,etc but no CC numbers,anyone know what they would be?

any ideas on the cam?
We were thinking stock mercruiser grind just couldnt match number with anything.

I checked a few books (build books) for the cam number. Sorry, no luck.

I know where ya can get a good deal on a ZZ502 cam, if ya wanna beat that Alfa to death :D

actually a ZZ cam would probably be easier on the drive because it would be a bit less torque on the low end I would Imagine especially if I retard it as I had originally plannned on. Gots one reaaaaaal cheap?

Yep. But "cheap" is a relative term :D
