the HP 500 carbed was 470 PSHP. The EFI version was 500.

I've known of 272s with 502s, and those boats won't break 70 stock. More like 67-68.

i have a 272 with 509 26 4 blade around 600hp best ive gone was 74gps

What year is your boat? Have you every checked the depth of your outdrive?

no its a 95 but someone told me i am giving up power... from my XR drive? also i am only turning 5,000 need to get some prop work done

where did you find it even for 4000....


I have gone as far as thinking about making an original then making a plug to form them from. Just a lot of work I just dont have time for right now.

got it right from Baja for a new 275 baja and then shaved it down some to fit.

when you say shaved it down to fit... was it too tall or just too long...


Its good to know that the 275's will fit with a little work. I think you are the first I have heard that has tried this. Im not sure of anyone anywhere who is making them anymore for the 272's

Now if I can only find an original to make a mold from ill be in business.

down the sides i had to make them 1'' to 2'' lower most of it fits well just shaped it to the boat

it comes in three peaces the front is fine and the sides are close... i am just picky and didn't like to use a lot of filler
