Delaminated hull.

Prior to the hull delaminated, the boat was a solid (...) runner. It was a 63mph boat on GPS. Has new plug wires, new carb kit with professional tuning, and a 2 season old gimabl bearing and bellow. It has the following that may be of use to someone looking for Pachanga pieces, a project, newer power, or a trailer.

2001 Merc Mag 454 330hp (w papers)
2001 Alpha 1 Outdrive
Quicksilver SS Prop (great shape)
Original seats (good shape nor rips or tears)
Original Vinyl (small tears)
1986 Load Rite trailer
All other Pachanga parts such as the windshield!

I do not have the knowledge or ability to part the boat myself, so if you think you can turn a profit at my loss, let me know.

Make an offer based on the pieces that still hold value. The selling price will not include the hull, which is in rough shape.

I have pictures of the boat if you'd like to see them.

With as many rehab projects as I see on some of the forums, I would not be surprised at all if there weren't someone into doing the glass repairs and in love with Pachangas. I think that they are really cool boats, but have no experience with glass stuff. Seems like I have seen dozens of projects where guys are seperating the decks and hulls, replacing stringers, installing new transoms and totally rebuilding boats. I think I would spend a little time advertising, find that Pachanga fan possibly, then as a last resort offer the parts and saw up the hull. Not that it is going to bring bigger $$ (most likely less or even I would guess) but no wrenching and the boat isn't going to a landfill. MY.02...Good Luck either way. Looks like it was a pretty cool rig prior to it's unfolding.

I didn't think calling the insurance people would be a good idea. Too many people knew about it the next day (small town). Plus, with the size of the damage, if I had hit something the outdrive would have shown damage.

I really hope someone is looking for a steal. It was an awesome boat once I had it dialed in. It really bums me out everyday.

that's the 3rd one i have seen do this,my buddy had one with a 540 in it and the exact same thing happened,we saw the bottom come out from under the boat @ 80 mph..the other was one saw sitting @ Chicago searay years ago..Seems to be a common problem..
