I have "flappers" on mine just to be safe....BadDog said:Time for my dumb question...
I have Teague Tips and I believe the OD is 4.5 inches. The rubber flappers are on the tip ends. By installing the turndowns they would not be used.
Do you have to use a flapper of some sort with these?
their website is.. http://ggb.ca/SweetEmotion said:Is there a website we can go to or a phone# we can call? I need a pair of turn downs I like the looks of your GGBs. How much do they run?
Probably a good idea to run flappers but it is not a must. I have been running these home made turn downs for 4 years with no trouble. Running teagues 4.5" mufflers in front also. I did not se eany reason for the large cut towards the back I left mine to hlep witn noise at cruise. You can not hardly hear it run when idling.Boatally Insane said:I have "flappers" on mine just to be safe....
......But the GGB's flappers bolt inside the muffler....
