speedo works if u pull it out of the drive and feed presure up in line but does not work in the water ?????

1/8" drill bit should fit. I always do it by hand.

This happened all the time with mine, finally I gave up and got a GPS speedo.
But everyone is right, small drill bit, blow it out with the speedo tube disconnected, if there is a way for you to blow air down from the connection it would be best, that way you don't force anything up the hole any further.
