How many degrees does your current module advance ? And at what RPM is it all in ? What is your base timing set at ? And what total timing are you wanting to achieve ?
96 gm 383 stroker
looking to find an ignition module for a 96 383 stroker The present module does not have enough advance in mid range 3000-4000 rpm I need a higher advance curve . this is a tbi5

all in at 3500-3800 28 deg w/ base set at 10 deg this is when I get dogging in mid range If I bump base timming to 12 deg I get good acceleration from idle to 5100 rpm But it also gives me starting problems during cranking
