A 454 block bored .060" with a 4.25" stroker crank is a 496 ci.

Yes John is a interesting guy, he loves to post and rant on OSO, I got caught up in all his mess. I dont think he will ever get rid of that Apache!!!!! Just buy mine!

a good deal is a good deal, i dont care if the owner is a nut job.

Looks like a great deal to me! If the boat is solid with good stringers and transom, and the motors sound healthy with a good compression cehck, that its a great deal.. Who cares if it was a theft recovery??? nothing is posted that it was stripped or submerged or such?/ Whats the biggie?!
I sure wish it was for sale at that price last year! i would have looked at it..
