Up Roktoy,

Unfrotauntly I missed the fight. But I am not impressed with Kimbo in general.

He is no doubt tough, no doubt strong, no doubt heavy handed. But as a TRUE MMA fighter he doesnt impress me, any of the decent UFC, Pride, WEC, guys would KILL him.

He's training the right way now, but he's 34, he doesnt have much time left.
Well I thought that was a good fight!!!
Pulver can sure take a beating and I think Faber got a wake up call. He did look good with his stand up. I think he better stay in the WEC and at 145. He moves up to 155 and heads to the UFC, he will be in for a rude awaken!

Kimbo's fight didn't impress me at all! Same goes for him, he heads into the UFC and he will get wasted. His cardio sucked! I think they stopped it way too early to save the win for him
I didnt see the fight. I assume pulver won?
No lost a dec. It was the right call
have another thought for the UFC fans. Not sure how many of you know who Fitch is but he is fighting GSP in August I think. That will be a great fight. If GSP gets by him I don't see anyone that can touch him. He has the whole package.
Faber and Pulver was a great fight, just shows how far behind guys that have faught faber really are, also look at how quickly pulver disposed of cub swanson.

That was a great fight, a great show of sportsmanship by both fighters, a truly great battle.

Pulver certainly looked tentative last night, he never reall let his hands go, I think he caught a couple of Faber's rights and kicks and got nervous.

Faber wouldn't do well at 155 he barely cuts to fight at 145. I wonder who they will have challenge him next? Faber could seriously pull a Matt Hughes and own that division for some time.
Crap I didn't see this. I figured Faber would pull it off but I was REALLY hoping Jens would catch him and put him down.

And that was NOT lil evil in there. As UP said he didn't let his hands go. Maybe he was hurt or Faber's straight lead right had him confused. It was a good fight though. I was VERY impressed with Faber's stand-up.

I also agree Faber isn't ready for the 155lb class in the UFC and may never be ready. Not taking anything away from him cause he is awesome at 145!

BTW the fight of the night was Torres vs Meada IMO. Those two left nothing in the ring!

Don't even get me started on this! That event was total GARBAGE and I hope it's never on primetime again. It was a cheesey as WWF and every fight had questionable stoppages with the exception of the Brett Rogers fight.

Kimbo showed that he is a C class fighter at best and even made his power questionable. Yes, he is big but that doesn't always equal powerful hits. His ground game is weak for the amount of training he's had and his cardio was horrible.

Gary Shaw and Elite XC are taking MMA in the wrong direction.

Ok, I am off my soapbox now. :D

That should be a good fight but I see GSP out on top of this. I don't see anyone touching him for awhile. I'd like to see him and Anderson Silva match up somehow.

I can't disagree with anything you said.

I think pulver was surprised with Fabers right hand and also the body kicks he was getting, from there he just didnt have the lil evil in him.

One thing I thouroughly enjoyed was the respect between the two fighters before and after the fight.

Same thing with Toress and meada, they fought like hell and showed great respect after the fight. Its a shame it had to stop do to the swelling, but it was the right call. Both guys fought like warriors and showed great skill, strategy and conditioning.

I also agree with you 100% on the Kimbo Slice and Elitexc fights. What a joke.
I forgot the Kimbo fight was on, the parts I saw after the fact were not that impressive. Check this link, a interesting discussion with Dana White about the Kimbo fight. http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband...ategoryId=2378529&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab6pos1
