Boat Season is over but on a good note

Finally, I get to winterize my boat for the first time in 3 years and leave the motors in it. Took it out for a gorgeous ride on Lake St Clair Tuesday night, broke a true 80mph and had a great evening. I think the great run, chill in the air, and beautiful evening gave me a great natural buzz.

I know exactly how you feel :) . This was the third season for my engines and they're finally getting a taste of fogging oil and antifreeze. THANK GAWD :laugher: :laugher:

Cool! It really is a treat to boat this time of year. Even down here. BillR and I got a chance to stretch our legs today. The weather guessers predicted rain all day. It was a little cloudy at times, but otherwise beautiful for boating. Perfectly consistent seas on the Chesapeake. The kind where you can get on top, set the sticks and just cruise.....50 plus. :D

I'm happy.....one last good run before winterizing.

Gotta start thinking about wintering in the warm climate. :)

What a great pic. Owner of his boat ripping along, wind in his face, hand on the throttle, burning some petrol. What a way to leave the world behind and just say ............F**K IT..............leave me alone...........can't you see that I am boating here!!!!!

Best part (see if you agree), No stop signs, No traffic lights, No young teenage girls driving with their cell phones plastered to their ear, No laser cops, No speed limit signs!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS

Thanks Tom, I needed that. :)

Winterizing mine probably next week and then it will be time to put the new hatch on it and cover it up till May.
Put the Camaro to bed for the winter yesterday at the back of the garage and pulled the T-Cat to the front so I can start working on it. :smile1:
