What year did merc come out with the Bravo drive?

What's the difference between Bravo 1 and Bravo One? What happened to Bravo II?

Cuda, I deleted previous post, it was wrong.
My info came from the History of Mercruiser which apparently is incorrect. My dad is a Mercruiser dealer, so I checked with him.
Alpha 1 - 1983
Bravo 1,2,3 - 1988

I never hear about a Bravo II, you hear of BI's and B3's, but never a BII. What is the deal with them?

Bravo 2 has a larger lower housing and prop-shaft so it can throw a larger diameter prop.
