Bravo rebuild

The upper build kit that I priced out last year was $1,275. If someone builds it for you then labor would be added.

Anyone know what the parts are going for now???? What about labor charges????

Russ, I sent out an email Friday am asking for references for a rebuild, Bill R emailed back saying he was leaving for Joey Griffiths in one hour and he would take my drive down there, I panic'd and drove it right over to him. Hopefully I wont pay out the arse and he'll get right on it. Bill said he is reasonable and does great work.

He is reasonable.
Jon just had his rebuilt, Very little in parts though. I think his bill was $700.
My rebuild last year w/ some parts was about $1200.

It will come back done right.

Well - how much was it and did he do a good job for ya?

$2200, with XR upper gears and all the necessary, shims, bearings, etc and I think he replaced the lowers with a used set that was in almost new condition, I couldnt really understand what he said but my invoice says used lower set and the prop shaft looks brand new.
I think he did a great job, turned it around in less than 2 weeks, the only issue is I now have a crack on the fin casing right above the prop zinc. I mentioned it to him and he kinda ignored it and I didnt push it, maybe I should have, I need to find someone who can weld aluminum.

at least it's fix i told you pete i had one here for 1,800

these were XR gears, so it was a pretty good deal, labor was $480 rest was parts.

Did James have his camera out? I know he was looking around with binoculars occasionally but didn't think he had a camera out. I'll find out if he got a pic.....I've gotten to the point I don't even bother bringing the camera out anymore. The girls are much more willing to free themselves if there are no cameras around.

Call me about Jammin next month. Might have room on the boat this year if your interested...still trying to lock down our exact plans.

If you had room I'll ask her, I would love to do it, I'm not signing up with my boat though.
