Hey Car Biz: You mentioned that your 272 has a smooth re-entry coming off the throttles. That is not the case with my 272 when you pull the sticks back hard the boat pulls to the right, I put it to the fact that the boat does not have counter rotating props, Does any one else have the pull to the right when coming off plan?
If it's pulls to the right when you back off check the tiller arms . Mine did that until I replaced the transom assembly. I did not go back with alpha I did bravo's :D 272 FORMULA FOR SALE

I pulled the trigger and bought the boat today! It's going to be a summer project, but is very solid structurally. I'll post up pictures and keep you all updated! By the way - it runs 67.2 GPS with smallblock LT1's. More details to come!

I talked to zdek today and it is fun to talk to someone less than 1000 miles away :laugher:
Looking forward to some pics.

He was looking for some help with some interior parts and I was hoping CUDA could chime in with some suggestions and experience.

Is the SR-1 interior interchangeable with the LS?

If so what will fit? Seats, cushions, doors etc!!

Hey everyone! As some of you know, I'm the proud new owner of a 272! It's a little bit of a project boat as it needs a lot of cosmetic work, but mechanically it's very sound. The boat is supposedly the 1986 brochure boat, and has been in Oklahoma since then. Today was spent cleaning and replacing hardware. I'll be on the look out for misc. parts and pieces, so if you have the hookup please let me know!! Thank you to all who have shared advise - I need it! I've attached some pictures from this afternoon.
