it was with a heavy heart that I watched American Beauty head west this morning at 6:30 AM from the Ohio/Indiana border on her way to her new home in Eagan Minnesota.

I know she'll be well cared for.

:)

bye bye

what's next: I honestly don't know - Karen and I have our eye on a few boats but we're building a new home so that severely limits our budget. There won't be a 42 Tiger in our new driveway next spring that's for sure...

but whatever is there will be cool - that is for sure...

we may just take the entire winter to save and decide...

seems the longer I wait the better the deals get - so why not wait?

:)

Man A/B was a beautiful boat. I loved the simple - clean appearance of the flag down the sides. Some paint jobs get too busy for my liking. The engines were beautiful too. Sorry to see her leave our cyber - world. :(

Good luck with the search for her replacement. :) :) :)

Hey Jeff,

That black 2001 Tiger T/S is up for sale. 575SCI - XR Drives - $205k.

Bobby
after a lot of soul searching I've decided that another cigarette just in't in the cards for me (at this point and I reserve the right to change my mind as our needs change in the future).

Karen and I like to spend saturday nights on the boat and simply do not care for an extended cover girl cabin. we thought we could make do, but there are other nice stepped bottom boat built after 2001 in the 36 to 40' range that do have cabins and fast hulls and are nice quality.

Congrats on selling the boat and your marriage Jeff.

Good luck on finding another one (boat I mean) and building your house, I hope your not a land lubber to long.
well - no sense in owning a boat and making payments for the 6 months you can't use it is there - if given the choice...

Sad to see your pride and joy head down the road on an unfamiliar truck Im sure but you know what, your ready now to pull the trigger on whatever comes up that peaks your interest, your in a really GOOD position and im sure like most of us you keep your eye on the boat traders, salty dogs, yachtworld.com, nationalmarine.com ect

yea - just what I want a want - a big old cow that weighs a ton... that needs 2,000 hp to reach 90 mph.

no thanks jay - I'm sure it's alluring for some but big old apache's just don't do it for me. I can say from experience that a 38 foot boat is perfect for the chesapeake bay. I'm going to stay in the 37 - 38' range and prefer something newer...

I'm not alone - they are great boats but few of them are finding new owners and every one around is for sale - there's a reason...
