I just bought a doral and when to fill the tank up with water turn on the faucet and nothing. pulled the water outlet line off before the pump and no water will come out. does anyone know if there is a check valve in the elbow coming out of the tank?

Is the pump working? the only one Ive ever had any exposure to was a rubber vane impeller type, so that makes it a self priming pump....that should draw the water out of the tank without issue. When you pulled the line off the pump...was it below the level in the tank? If so then look for a check valve or a kink in the line..
On my Trojan I have to turn off the shore water or the tank water pump won't pick up, has some kind of check valve.
