Changing IMCO Silent Choice Bushings??

Has anyone ever changed the seals and bushings in their Imco Advantage exhaust? Mine are spraying water like a fountain, I got the parts from IMCO and not sure how to remove the pins. I have a sneaky feeling I have to remove the exhaust tips, then the rubber pipe between the Y pipe and the transom to get access to the inside of the Y pipe. Is there a cotter pin or something holding that pin in? It should just pull straight out??

Any help would be appreciated.

The diverters/plates that direct the exhaust either thru the transom, or thru the OD, are bolted to the shaft that goes thru the bushings you need to change. Obviously you'll need to remove the shafts to change the bushings. You'll need to remove the exhaust hose to get to the bolts holding the plates. Not much more effort to just pull the pipes that house the diverters at that point. And probably the quickest way to git'r done.
