I actually got pulled over by a cop on horseback in Detroit. He didn't like the way I chirped the tires in my pickup going around the corner and wrote me a ticket for squealing tires. I got a lot of looks as people drove by with this damn horse standing next to my window as the cop wrote the ticket. Too bad I didn't know that joke backe then!

In 1999 while on senior vacation I received a call from one of my best friends Dad. The conversation was like this. (ring ring) Hello, "Tim this is Dr. Bellot, do you happen to know where Travis is" not really, I am not sure if he came in last night, "well actually he didn't, he has been arrested, would you mind going and bailing him out" (in confused voice) UMmm sure I can do that, what do I need to do.
So I get down to that station and finally figure out why He got arrested. Street racing, Travis was at a stop light and a mustang was beside him (Travis driving a Porsche 944s). So he accelerated in a normal fashion to get in front of the mustang. At the next light a bike cop rolls up to the window and tells him to get out of the car. Travis looked at the cop and asked why, after hearing the reason Travis said your serious? I am being pulled over for racing cars by a bicycle? Travis had made friends in jail, he was reluctant to go. The first thing he did was to go down to one of those street vendor T-shirt places and have them make a T-shirt proudly announcing "arrested By Myrtle Beeches Finest, summer 99" Turns out just to be a racket, the myrtle beech police would arrest for everything, It was how they ensured revenue.
