I would say no and that may be a good thing in this case.

My thought is that if he had the transom straps on, the boat would not have flown off the trailer.

Am I thinking right ?

Don your right but I would think with the boat being able to move forward and up on its own that the truck did not have to displace the boats force. I am just thinking physics here not what would be the right way to trailer a boat. I always trailer with straps and safety chains and all that stuff.

I am thinking he did not or this would have been a lot better situation for him. :rolleyes: What a mess and it could have been prevented. More egg in the face for boaters!!!

Maybe its some sort of evolution thing?? you know how fish started to walk on land and became mammals??

Maybe we'll be seeing some beak cars driving down the road soom day soon??? :D
