WOW! The boat looks great.
So all thats left is, install 2 new engines, have the drives rebuilt and buy new case's, repair/rebuild the crusty k-planes and transom assymblys, refinish all the scratched and goug'd gelcoat, have all the cracked seams on the rear seats fixed. Then spend a solid week removing the bottom paint and refinishing the bottom where it sands threw. Buy a trailer and then spend alot more time fixing all the stuff that doesnt work because it sat for 4 years and you will have a really nice old school boat worth at least 16-17 in todays market.

I just want to thank you,(VERY MUCH) for outbidding me,or I am sure I would not be having such a great Christmas.
A week after the listing ended I bought a repo 1990 Formula 311 SR-1 in Miami, great colors, repowered with fresh 496's no bottom paint and on a 2006 aluminum triple trailer, ready to be enjoyed,( I did have to spend a couple hours waxing it and buying matching towls, ropes and a new bikini for my smoking hot wife).
I appriciate the couple hundred extra hours you have saved me so I can enjoy some time with the family, We booked 118 dollar flights to Miami after Christmas to check out the keys.
I do apoligize for all the extra bids I put in over 6,000, I really was not taking it serious after that.
Thank you again...and Merry Christmas.

a little compound

Cleaning up nicely since Formula uses top quality products in their layup. Keep the pics coming and congrats on the 292.
I like that style of sunpad.

What are you planning for power?

I think I paid about 165 for a full set of birds and letters from Formula. Don't try ebay. The prices they try to get is rape. New from Formula the birds are only $16 each.

My next door neighbor has a Monte Carlo just like that one in the background. Is that yours?

wow ohioboater you seem pissed becuase you lost. your boy from NY needs glasses or he should of realy looked at it instead of bull s@#%ing you about what he saw. Its not as crusty as you think plus if your in this game what are you so worried about money for? I bought it as a project I have time money talent & A HOT WIFE who s into it as much as I am. This boat will make a nice dingy for us. And the kids will enjoy what there father did for them. And I will enjoy watching them go by while me and my wife are on our PC. Good luck with the 311, glad to see you found a quility ride..

Couple things on this, dude you should keep it to yourself, it was his choice not yours, he obviously knows what hes doing and why should you or anyone else second guess that, I think its coming along nicely, were glad you found a 311 and hope you will share pics when you get it, still trying to figure out why it says you own a baja?? but whatever, :confused1 thats statement above was tacky and not a way to make new friends around here :sm1: anywayz start your own thread about your 311, we'd all love to know about it, O and lastly if you were'nt serious about this boat after 6k you should have quit bidding thats why ebay's rep is shot because people do crap like that :angry1:

Sounds like someone is a little tweaked that he didn't get the boat, otherwise you wouldn't be on here making yourself out to be such a prick wad. That kind of attitude has no place here...don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out..... :winker:

P.S. Prick Wad

ccms,

That rear bench is in no worse condition thatn my 292 was and it was covered for all its life. Coverings just wear out and dry, brittle and crack, its a given. I just laid a towel over it never thought any more about it.
