I made sure to grab the GPS to get an accurate speed-reading. My wife and I idled out of the canal and headed towards the North Channel. After a few pass to make sure there was nothing wrong I handed my wife the hand-held GPS unit and to he to “Hold” on. I wicked the throttles up and had it purring like a kitten, ran perfect. I trimmed it out just right and looked over and asked what the speed-read? She looked at me confused and said “I Don’t Know” - I said read the GPS, She looked over at me and said “It’s in my purse” :confused1

Oh.. I did get a GPS Run after we fixed the "problem" :laugher:

1999 Wellcraft Scarab 29 (68.1 GPS @ 4800/4850rpm)
1/2 tank of fuel - 2 people.

Not to bad, I sent the props out this morning to get re-finished. They had a few quarter size dents on them for the previous owner.
