Plenty of power and good fuel mileage is a bit of an oxymoron but 5 grand including trailer seems like a hell of a deal.
I spend more than 5k on beer and cigarettes a year.

 

Looks to be a nice little project. New carpet, upholstery, carbon fiber dash, new gauges, wheel and throttle and some TLC on the outside would make it look pretty nice. A nice 383 would probably push it mid to upper 70's.

 

Nice boat, good price, but I that Blue is Ugly.., I'd paint it white and do some modern graphics on it with airbrush.

 

I'd just put on lettering (spelled correctly to be different) Tripple Digits
