made little road trip today down to our nation's capital to look at a few trucks and took some pics on the way back--- here's the view from the "Key Bridge" looking out at the Chesapeake Bay - I was heading north and looking to the east. If I had taken pictures to the west you would have seen Fort McHenry. The Key Bridge was named after Francis Scott Key -- remember him?

about 40 miles up the road is another bridge that crosses the susquehanna river that is the primary source of water for the chesapeake bay at the very northern end. I held the steering wheel with my knee, opened the sunroof and held the camera with both hands and took this picture at 70 mph of the northern end of the bay.

the road trip was pretty much a waste of 6 hours and a tankful of gas....I don't know why I continue to believe sales guys that tell me the trucks I'm going to look at are "beautiful and in excellent condition". Both trucks I looked at today were beat-up, scratched-up and a waste of time to go look at.

the only fun part about the entire day was arriving home to find my new tag for the Deuce in the mailbox. I just put it on...

Beautiful day in S. Jersey too. Near 50 and not a cloud in the sky. Come on Spring.

That's alright. Last year I put the sticker for my old boat trailer on my truck tag. Sold the boat after that and the truck is gone too! Thank You Isabel!

guess I stll have a problem with authority...

as if the gas tax was not enough to fund the state highways I had to pay 5% sales tax when I bought and a titling fee and on top of that registration fees every two years - it sucks...

that's why I put the stickers on wrong - my little way of saying "f.u"....
