can anyone post a vid of their hole shots.. I seem to think that mine is very poor.. seems like it takes forever..
I adjust the trim tabs etc but no real improvement..

I wonder if this means my prorp is to large.. I am not ever sure what size my prop is.. I think maybe a 21.not sure though..

Prop pitch, diameter, # of Blades, etc can all make a huge difference.

Some props on my boat launch me on plane, other's slip like crazy and others bog the motor.

Yea it gets out pretty fast. Like I said I was not pushing it much there. I Can hammer down and she really jumps out of the water. I don't have to put the tabs down or anything. Infact I have at times forgoten to put the drives back down after a run and it will still get up.

I have thought about going to a taller prop. I have Bronson Hill labbed 23p props now that I can propbably spin @ 5200 to 5300 RPM WOT with 365 mags. I have never really run the boat a WOT or have a run the boat with a GPS. I think the boat will do 70-72.

Dishdave, nice videos. i thought the area looked familiar. My inlaws live In South Haven and I used to boat there all summer. I miss fresh water...just not frozen fresh water

Here's a vid of mine taking off, however this is under 1/4 throttle. If I put it to WOT I scream right out of the water and afraid I'll bust that black thing hangin' off the back of my boat. :laugher:

2800lbs SBC / 21" prop somtimes / sometimes 23" . 5.7/Alpha Motor is not stock.
