Take a pill, he has been in office a whole three weeks.

At this point, I would rather he (and Congress) so SOMETHING and have it be wrong.


As apposed to doing nothing.

Soooooooooooooooooooo 4 years from now this is the scene I'm picturing...
"Listen, 'O', we know you wasted a trillion dollars back in '08 on social programs that did nothing to stimulate the economy, but you're a great enough leader to admit your mistake so here's 3 trillion more to fix the "screw up" from your first term. Thanks and have a nice day."

The country (and the world for that matter) can't afford for them to be wrong just so they can look like they were doing something.

Two points:
First:
Let's try to keep away from personal jabs and insults.

Second:

if we used my wife's 401K as in example (was 80% stock) we would have lost over 30% in a whole 3 quarters of 2008.

If my memory serves me correctly, the individual gets to choose where 401k money is invested (or not invested), so it was your choices that lost over 30%, no? That's Bush's or anyone else's fault how?
