We tend to beach alot, this weekend I vowed to be the last weekend I have to pull hoses off to get the sand out because they were blocked! Does anyone know of a good strainer thats not crazy expensive? Does anyone run them and if so what type? I've got a Sunsation 288 with a HP500EFI.

Ya I seen them in there catalog this weekend, they would be perfect. The only thing is for me to buy it I would spend $600.
I don't know if thats what they are all priced at? If so I have no choice. Just thought I would pick some brains.

there is another forum that may also have some used sea strainers listed there.....

take a look/see you may find some used.
