What insurance carrier do you use for your Magnum? Looking into re-diong mine, have found alot of insurance carriers will not do comprehensive coverage on the boat because its nearly 30 years old. They say that they can't get an accurate "replacement value" or in most cases even a blue book value.
Let me know who you go through and cost if you dont mind.
Thanks
I use Progressive on my '72 sedan
My agent and I are currently debating how to handle the value. We are working on the premise that I will use the the piles of receipts I have for structural and mechanical upgrades to support a value on such an old boat. I currently pay $955 for $35,000 in coverage.
I'm going to drop it to $25,000. Good luck
hmmm, i talked to progressive and they said my boat was too old....i told them all i want is physcial damage (ie if its stolen or vandalized basically) up to 25K in coverage...
i'll give progressive a call again, did i do or say something wrong?
