I got my first BRX 24 bowrider in yesterday. Brand new model from Checkmate. I already have it all rigged with a new MERC 300XS. This is the BADDEST bowrider anyone is ever gonna see! I'm no bowrider guy, but this boat is COOL! Here's some pics. Here it is at 1:00pm yesterday.

The Merc is waitin for it's new home!

I got Eric to climb in under the dash to hook up some hydraulic steering. Skinny little *******, ain't he!

Tons of storage up front. Also lots of storage under each console

Behind the back seat is storage and brackets for a wakeboard and skis

Big storage under the back seat too.

Passenger cooler locks in and is easily removed

Speaker pod and drink holders

Lots of room up front

Dino wheel and Kiekhiefer controls

Anchor and rope locker up front

I get these custom setback bracket made for my boats

It will run in the 70's. I just rigged a new 24 closed deck last week and it ran 77.4 first time out. It gets about 5 mpg at 40-50 mph. Holds 63 gallons. This one id $56K as shown. I still have the red 40 ounce snap-in carpet and rear ladder coming. Here's pics of the boat done this afternoon.

Wow!!! i'm not sure, but i think i like it , maybe a lot :a4:
Thats a sharp boat.
yeah, thats sharp for sure!
good looking boat
that thing is awesome  probably one of the best interiors I've ever scene on a mate!! I'm curious how does the cooler keep from bouncing out of that recess though?
The cooler insert is made for that cooler. It locks into place and removes easily. The sun was'nt out, but the light gray is actually all silver metalflake.
Wildman,

I drove 6 hours to Connecticut (Diamond Marine) to look at a 2400 closed bow in the same colors as the BRX.

Questions, will the closed bow version be available with the interior liner and Zero Effort controls such as the BRX? Any chance of eliminating the motor well?

I didn't care for the whole interior being carpeted like the one I saw. I'm hoping in the near future they provide a liner for the closed bow version with snap in carpet.
Awesome. Is that a new model OB for Merc? I am thinking the changes at Checkmate are for the better!!
Liking the new stuff!
No innerlinner is planned right now for the closed bow. I have two closed bows with the Pirrelli flooring-snap-in carpet. My 24's are also $5k-$10K cheaper than Diamond Marines. I can order you one.

What prop is that. Looks big but might be the angle?
Ran the boat today. Plane instantly with zero slip. After breakin, it ran 72.8 mph. No chinewalk whatsoever. I could turn it full lock and it never lost bite. Handles awesome! Prop was a 25" Trophy turning 6000 rpm.
