Not a problem. I didnt know you were out there either or I would have came over to say hi and have a beer with you guys. Where were you at? What was going on over in front of the DJ. Sounded like a fight or something. Hope you had a good weekend. Say Hi to Nicole.

 

we were rafted in front of the line with 7 or 8 boats together. we had a volleyball net set up for a while...it was nice because it kept all of the traffic away from our sterns!!!

We were at the far end of the line and about 50 ft in from there. There was a huge orange and silve cat sitting in front of us in the line. It had big power with #6 drives.It was a sweet looking boat.It will probably be a few weeks before we get up there again. Doing PIB on July 5-6 with Donna's aunt and uncle from Conn. and then doing the Leopa Hazards Island trip the next wknd with her nephew.Hopefully the week after that we should be up there. I will let you know.

 

Hey Chris, Mary's mom isn;t feeling well so we might not be going out of town to that wedding. Knowing my luck she will be feeling like an 18 year old come wedding time and we will have to go. If not, I will be out Saturday

So does anyone still go out to the HOT HOLE to party? I was docked at a small marina in Toledo last year and went out to Woodtick quite a bit but never made it out to the HOT HOLE. I will be rack and launching at Toledo Beach Marina and want to make it out to the HOT HOLE this year. So does anyone still go out there I have not been out there in years...

I also heard that you have to get in there a certain way so that you do not bust your outdrive. Is there any truth to this and how do you get in? ANy help would be GREAT and MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

I have a 21ft boat with a 4 cyclinder I/O so I do not know if I should worry with this or if when people say that they have some trouble getting in there they are talking about larger boats???

 

Yes it it still going on down there. It's a lil tricky getting in but as long as your lined up right it shouldn't be a problem.

So what is the trick? How and what do you line up with?

 

Not sure on the land mark but I know you align the transom to the tower and point to land. It is a pretty strange feeling running 80+ twards shore and a little opening appears LOL. I have not done it solo and usually follow the group in. Look up LEOPA on facebook. Their members can give you better insight.
