The Chris Cat is a 31' hull similar to the Shadows. They were designed by George Linder and both designs had steps. If you saw a 32' it was not a Chris Cat. The molds were sold to American Offshore who still builds them today. It was a design ahead of it's time. I agree they were only built from 84- to 87 and only about 75 were built. The Shadows were built for OB's and small blocks only. The sponsons were widened for Big blocks on the Chris Cat.

Horsepower; Those Chris Cats were ahead of their time in terms of design. In addition to being fast they ride great in the rough stuff.

Pic of flag boat from side. The cover over the rear seat comes off.

That is one sweet boat  I like how they made the rear seat cover removable.

The Chris Cats, & Shadows were way ahead of there time, its to bad that "they" didn't continue their work (death of one of the designers), who knows what we would have to day. All the Chris cats have the steps, somewhere I heard they built About 250 of them but I'm not sure about that. The American flag boat looks great.
