Today was supposed to be simple, pull my motor, take the boat to storage, go home, DONE !!!!!!! I had done all the prepwork yesterday, all that was left were the motor mount bolts and PS lines. SO this morning comes, I hook up the boat and head to my buddys house with the hoist. On the way there this guy pulls up next to me screamimg YOUR BOAT IS ON FIRE !!!!! I look in my mirror to see flames pouring out the right side wheel well !!!!!!!! So I pull over deciding whether or not I should let it burn or not, when the same, very nice guy dives under my boat grabing wet grass and weeds putting the flames out. Turns out he is a neigbor, and loves the boat.

SO come to find out the bearing went, wheel cocked rubbed the brake shoe untill,,,,,,,,,,,get home,,, run to parts store,,, new bearng, and seals,,,, the brakes are destroyed ( disk brakes in spring !! ) get the motor out, storage closed, boat still in driveway !!!!!!! No damage to boat so I guess it could have been worse !!!!!!!! SO,,, howwas everyones elses day !!!!!!!!!!!???????

You know we shouldn' pick on Dodge. They are good source of income for a lot of people.
Those people are called tow truck drivers.:D

Yea,that's why I'm un-employed. Ford's are so good they closed up all the service departments so I'm out of work.....

As a technician for GM,I was only able to work 15 years, and then they started building them so good,it was getting tough to find work

Thank god for Dodge, their now keeping the auto industry floating bye building all their junks.:gunner:

Forget Dodge, you have a lifelong career keeping the screws tight in your Brand B boat.

Plus ALL THE EXTRA WORK you create for yourself by trying to fix something.

Have you figured out that using a 6 foot pry bar to get your alternator belt really tight, might be what broke the bracket?
