The boat was done at Hawkeye Marine in IA. They yanked the motors and sent them to someone that's an expert with prochargers.
Hawkeye put a charger my buddy's 272 Baja and it threw belts from day one after they had a "professional" put it on. A pilot in the area he was told - the boat went back several times and it was never right. I wouldn't let them work on my lawnboy. He called procharger and they told him to have the installer fix it, they wouldn't.

I've heard some horror stories involving Hawkeye installed prochargers. I've also heard many good stories. I personally would have went with whipples. For him it was a matter of location. If its not right this guy will be the first to call them on it. He's a shrewd buisness man himself and he doesn't take well to shoddy workmanship. I'm hoping for the best.

Good luck with the 292! My 02 has 106 flawless hours on it with no regrets.
